Large Motor Support (with three ram trim system)

The technology behind the m-ywedge™ is fiendishly simple. Constructed from EPDM rubber and high-tech plastic, it simply fits over the outboard's trim & tilt piston. When the motor meets the rubber as it's tilted down, it self-centers to form a cushioned stable platform that seals on both ends for safe, dependable trailering at the correct height and eliminates trailer shock.

Thanks to advances in boat-building technology over the last decade, modern transoms are created to withstand torque. That's why the m-ywedge™ is so long overdue. It's only eight inches long, so it fits in any boat storage compartment, unlike the old style transom saver. It works with manual or hydraulic jack plates, and regular or long shaft models. It's virtually indestructible as well as UV and saltwater resistant. It won't harm the trailer, outboard or boat and perhaps most importantly, it completely eliminates the need to lean underneath the boat for installation, nothing to hold on to.

Safe, convenient, and easy to use and store, the m-ywedge™ is the answer to every outboard boater's needs.

Install on trim/tilt switch side, normally Port Side of Yamaha/Suzuki Outboards, F300-F350 V-8 models need 2 m-ywedge units, port and starboard.

  1. Trim outboard to up position.
  2. Slide M-Y Wedge on Trim/Tilt switch side (normally port side of Yamaha/Suzuki outboards and starboard side of Mercury/Honda/Johnson/Evinrude) over Trim/Tilt piston rod of lower unit. Note: The trim/tile switch may be on the starboard side of some Yamaha and Suzuki models.
  3. M-Y Wedge will position and self-center, slide completely down.
  4. Trim outboard down until the rubber begins to compress.
  5. To remove M-Y Wedge simply trim outboard to up position and remove.
  6. Store M-Y Wedge in any boat compartment for convenience.

Note: We recommend that you rotate M-Y Wedge 1/4 to 1/2 turn after each use. This helps even the compression of the EPDM Rubber on the unit.
